Getting outside is a high priority for some people -- Sarinity is one of them. She loves outdoor activities; everything from fishing to water sports and camping. In fact, Sarinity has stated that she even likes just getting out and going to the lake. There’s peace and joy in the outdoors, and Sarinity appreciates that.
What else does Sarinity love? Animals! Quite a lot. She’s a super helpful kid, especially when it comes to caring for the pets in her home. A naturally compassionate person, Sarinity cares a lot for others and always wants to make people (and animals) feel good about themselves. It should also be noted that Sarinity loves her stuffed animals in addition to the real ones.
Currently in the 3rd grade, Sarinity does well in her classroom environment. Both in and outside of the classroom, Sarinity benefits from supervision and structure in her routine. She really enjoys playing with and learning from hands-on activities like science kits and books. An adoptive family who can help encourage and support Sarinity as she continues with her schooling years will be great.
Sarinity is very close to her current foster mom and also has a relationship with her biological mother and siblings. These are all important relationships to Sarinity and ones that she hopes to maintain throughout her life. An adoptive family who is willing to help Sarinity keep her close bonds will be essential.
Sarinity is very good at communicating her feelings and seems to feel especially close to some of her favorite adults in her life. Sarinity will need a bit of time to adjust to a new home and family, but once she warms up, she’s very loving and open with people. Sarinity has stated that she would prefer to have older siblings, especially a teenage sister to look up to! Adoptive families who are great with boundaries and setting expectations will be the best fit for Sarinity. Sarinity is Cambodian and though she is not concerned with having an adoptive family that shares her cultural background, a family who will help Sarinity learn more about her culture if and when she’d like to will be a great addition to her life.
If you can see Sarinity in your family, please reach out to us! We’re excited to find her the adoptive family she deserves.
