Meet Anubis and Kaisha

Anubis is an artist! Creative and imaginative, she enjoys drawing anime and reading anime-style books. She’s also very athletic and loves the outdoors. She’s previously played on a volleyball team, and loves being active and going camping. While she can be quiet and reserved at first, once she warms up to someone, she is described as bubbly and playful!

In the 5th grade, Anubis is working hard at school to improve. She needs a family that is able to be actively engaged with her school and schoolwork and to advocate for her where needed.

Kaisha is outgoing, curious, and bright. She is a big animal lover, and especially enjoys horseback riding. She likes other sports, too, and has previously played soccer. Swimming is another favorite hobby of hers!

Kaisha is a social butterfly, and while she has a lot of friends, she tends to gravitate toward interactions with adults. Encouragement for her to “be a kid,” helps her.

In the 2nd grade, Kaisha is doing well and working hard at her reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Like her sister, families who can be great educational advocates for the girls and continue to help them as they progress in school will benefit them greatly.

Anubis and Kaisha are very bonded to each other and their older sibling. Their team hopes to hear from families willing to help these sisters maintain their connections with one another. They are also well-connected with other family members that they would like to remain in contact with.

Anubis and Kaisha thrive with good routine and structure and with caregivers that can engage in the services and supports that they need. These sisters also appreciate one-on-one time.
