Meet Norman

Special Note: Guardianship Family Needed

This child is waiting for a loving, committed family who can provide long lasting care. Learn more about Guardianship here.

Social and outgoing, one of Norman’s favorite pastimes is hanging out and having quality time with the important people in his life. Norman has a creative spirit and is very artistic. He loves to color and cut out pictures. Norman loves a good movie night and enjoys lots of different types of movies.

In school, Norman works hard, and benefits from having lots of support in the classroom and having a smaller class size. It will be important for families to help Norman continue to thrive in school by supporting him and helping him access his services. Norman is continuing to work on and practice his social skills, and his team knows that with time and modeling from a family, he will grow.

Norman needs a family who can meet him where he is and fulfill his need for comfort and nurturing. Norman appreciates having a room to himself when he is feeling upset and has been great at soothing himself.

Norman does well in homes that provide him with structure and routine. His team is hoping to hear from caregivers that can engage in the services he needs to ensure he is receiving the appropriate supports. He needs a family that is patient and able to be playful, caring and fun while providing consistency.

Families who will be open to continuing to allow Norman to explore contact with his biological mother and extended family when possible are in his best interest. This is of great benefit to Norman and will help support him as he grows.

Norman is ready for a family to introduce him to fun activities and experiences, to learn new hobbies and pastimes, and to spend lots of time with. Can you see Norman in your family? Reach out to us! We’re excited to find Norman the permanent home and support that he deserves.
