Meet Leilonei

Imagine a world full of color, doused in glitter and sparkles, where one can interact with unicorns and mermaids and a never-ending number of puppies. Leilonei can picture it, we’re certain, because these are all of her favorite things. Leilonei the “silly goose,” according to her social worker is an absolute joy to be around. She is full of life and curiosity, always wanting to explore and learn more about the world around her. Leilonei is incredibly empathetic and cares deeply about the people in her life, always making sure that everyone feels comfortable and happy. A complete jokester, Leilonei is the kind of kid who is always joking around and making people laugh. She loves to perform in front of an audience and is invigorated by making other people smile.

It would be amiss to not emphasize Leionei’s passion for animals. As you can see in her Beyond the Profile video, Leilonei loves all animals big and small, though dogs are her favorite, and guinea pigs. Leilonei has said that she’d love to be adopted by a family who lives on a farm so she can be a “farm girl.” An adoptive family who loves and cherishes animals and can continue to teach Leilonei how to properly care for them will be great.

Leilonei has a passion for photography and making videos, as well. She also enjoys playing around with makeup, particularly blush, lipstick, and colorful eye-shadow. Leilonei’s creative imagination is a huge part of her personality, and she’s drawn toward imaginative play. This often includes her favorite toy, her Barbie dolls. For her In-Depth Profile, Leilonei wanted to showcase her Barbies by creating a Barbie concert video that also features her favorite music artist, Kane Brown.

Currently in school, Leilonei is doing well and working really hard on the subjects that tend to be tougher. She has a great advocate in her teacher and is dedicated to her goals. Positive reinforcement is really helpful for Leilonei. An adoptive family who can help Leilonei reach her goals in school will be really beneficial for her. Leilonei's lawyer, Elizabeth, wanted to share about her expereince working with and getting to know Leilonei, and what she hopes for Leilonei's future.

Leilonei has a good relationship with her biological father and sister. An adoptive family who will support those bonds throughout her life will be essential.

Leilonei is open to many different kinds of family makeups. She is excited at the prospect of having siblings of any age, and dreams of the travels and adventures she'll embark on with her adoptive family. She is particularly excited to plan to trip to Disneyland or Disneyworld! An adoptive family who is big on structure and routine while balancing flexibility will be a great fit for her. Leilonei does really well when she is given options and thrives with positive reinforcement. Leilonei deserves an adoptive family who will always be there for her and who will guide her toward positive thinking and support her throughout her journeys in life.
