An avid reader who, according to her social worker, will “read literally almost anything,” Freedom can often be found with her head in a book. Reading isn’t all Freedom enjoys though. In fact, she has so many hobbies, she’s always keeping busy.
Getting outside is great for Freedom’s adventurous spirit. While outdoors, Freedom does not shy away from the thrilling activities like four-wheeling and horseback riding, two activities she particularly likes. Biking, swimming, and hiking are also all up Freedom’s alley.
Creative and curious, Freedom is also an artist who really appreciates hands-on, tactile activities, like working with clay. While she’s working, Freedom may be inspired by throwing on some of her favorite music, which is wide-ranging. Freedom can jam from pop to rock and everything in between.
Freedom is also interested in technology and enjoys playing video games when she gets the chance to do so.
Currently in the 10th grade, Freedom is navigating the world of high school entirely online! She does well when she engages, and will do especially well with an adoptive family to support and guide her. Freedom does her best in a stable, consistent setting with lots of care and support. Especially while learning at home, an adoptive family who can provide Freedom with that kind of guidance would help her thrive. After school, Freedom is potentially interested in seeking out a vocational certification program involving hands-on service work.
Fun to be around with a bright affect, Freedom is a great kid who deserves the right adoptive family. Freedom is a great conversationalist who asks great questions and really enjoys engaging with others.
A calm, patient adoptive family who can dedicate lots of time, attention, and positive energy toward Freedom will be the best fit for her. Freedom would really, really like to be the only kiddo in her new family, where she can ensure she is getting all that she hopes and dreams to get from a place to call home.
If you can see Freedom in your family, please reach out to us! We’re excited to find her the adoptive family she deserves.
