Tony “TJ”, Zane and Alex are very closely bonded and bright brothers. All three love swimming, playing outdoors, fishing, hiking, “treasure hunting”, the beach and Wildlife Safari. One of their biggest requests for a family is that they get tucked in at night with hugs and kisses!

TJ is the eldest and is described as “the sweetest boy.” He is social, helpful, caring, considerate and is a great friend to others his age. TJ is “a talker”, a good teammate, a problem solver and good at taking turns. He also has a strong sense of social justice. TJ likes riding his bike, reading, video games, playing outside, trying new things and going new places. He benefits from supports both in and outside of school for attention and focus in order to do his best. He gets great encouragement and help at school and will need a family who is diligent about keeping this up at home.

Zane loves to stay busy and he has many interests. He likes to run, socialize, engage in outdoor activities and tell jokes. He also enjoys quieter activities like reading, writing stories, playing with Legos, and drawing or coloring. Zane is above grade level in many subjects! While responsible and hard-working, he, too, benefits from ongoing supports at school to stay focused and on task. Zane is sensitive and all the demands of life can be hard on him. He relies on structure and once he gets the hang of his routine he blossoms. It’s important that he is clear on the rules and what’s coming next, and he benefits from support through transitions.

Alex is the youngest and he is happy all the time! He is “down for anything” and always ready to get out of the house, even just to the grocery store. He is kind and quick to make friends. He is a good communicator and will let you know what he needs. Alex will also find extra support at school to be helpful as he catches up both academically and socially.

TJ, Zane and Alex have assorted biological family members they will need to maintain contact with, including an older brother and their birth mother. She travels far for her weekly visits with the boys and is open to video calls if their new family can accommodate that. They have also bonded with their current placement and would like to stay in touch with them.

These boys would thrive with an attentive, committed family who can provide them with a listening ear as they have lots of ideas that they like to share. An active family who likes to go places and explore would be ideal. They would do well in a home with other children and animals. However, these boys do have busy schedules so lots of patience and time to meet their needs will be essential.
