Meet Khris

Grab some popcorn and pull up a chair—Khris is a movie lover through and through! Some of Khris’ favorite movies are Sonic the Hedgehog and The Fast and Furious and Marvel franchises. The two latest movies on Khris’ must-watch list? Spiderman: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday.

When he’s not streaming a superhero film, Khris also enjoys playing games on his Wii, building with LEGOs, or tinkering with electronics.

Khris enjoys going to church on Sundays and does well in this setting. He also attends a youth group that he likes and has talked about becoming a youth pastor someday when he grows up.

Thoughtful and kind, Khris often looks after those he cares about, like his friends at school and his current foster family. He is helpful around the home and does best with a structured environment and consistent routines.

Khris receives some extra educational supports that are helping him to catch up. He is most engaged in math currently and is making progress toward his math goals. Families who can help continue to be educational advocates for Khris and help encourage him to try new things would be in his best interest.

Khris is well-connected with his grandmother and needs to maintain that relationship, so families willing to help Khris nurture that important connection will be key for him. Khris would also like to stay connected with his current foster parent.

Boy Scouts has been one of Khris’ favorite activities lately. He also occasionally goes to campouts with his troop, and his favorite activities there are cooking and hanging out with his friends.
