Meet Benji. This sweet little guy is ready to find his permanent home.

His favorite thing? A good nap! Benji sleeps a lot but currently he’s awake for 2-3 hour stretches. Benji requires a variety of ongoing services and 1:1 supervision, so a family should be able to stay consistent with his appointments and services.

Benji needs a family who can help him reach his full potential. He will reach milestones on his own timeline and in his own way.

He qualifies for supportive nursing hours in the home, so there will always be helping hands. Additionally, any family will need to be open to being trained by his current caregiver on his medical needs and how to best care for Benji.

Benj has met his biological mom, dad, older brother, older sister, 2 cousins, and great grandparents and he still has visits with his biological mother. A family that will help Benji maintain these connections will be important.

Benji needs a family that will accept and cherish him for the special guy that he is, no matter what his future holds. The family should also welcome the support of nurses and other practitioners who come to the home regularly to help care for him.

Benji is a boy who has conquered the biggest of obstacles. He is loved, seen, and ready to find his permanent family.
