Meet Julian

Julian is also athletic, and loves learning how to play sports and do things like ride bicycles. Active families would be well-equipped for Julian, since she is always on the move. She loves exploring new places, and keeping herself busy.

In the 1st grade, Julian is making academic progress, but will benefit greatly from a family that can advocate for her educationally. Extra supports in school help her to be successful in the classroom.

Julian has multiple biological family members who are important to her. She has two older brothers. She has a strong relationship with one of them and would like to remain in contact with him by phone or on video calls. Julian also has a maternal grandmother that wants to remain in contact with her. Julian’s team would love to hear from families willing to help her maintain these important relationships.

Families willing to help Julian as she continues to work on social skills and learn about boundaries would be beneficial for her. Julian does well with families who can set clear expectations, provide stability, and communicate with her so she knows what’s going on.

Julian has asked to be adopted by a biracial family. She wants to look like her family members. She also hopes to live in a diverse area where she can be around other people of color. She has been learning a lot about her race and ethnicity and would love to share in that learning with a family. Julian has also expressed interest in having a sibling (especially a sister) someday.
