Meet Julian

Bright and cheerful, Julian is known for filling a room with joy and laughter! This creative, social girl loves to spend her time working on craft projects, singing songs she learned at church, dancing and telling you all about herself and her day.

Julian is athletic and loves learning how to play new sports and do things like ride her bike. Active families would be well-equipped for Julian, since she is always on the move. She loves exploring new places and keeping herself busy.

In the 3rd grade, Julian is making academic progress but will benefit greatly from a family that can be strong advocates for her. Extra supports in school help her to be successful in and out of the classroom.

Julian has two older brothers whom she hasn’t visited for some time, but she may want to explore contact with them in the future. Julian also has a maternal grandmother that wants to remain in contact with her. Julian’s team would love to hear from families willing to help her maintain these beneficial relationships.

Julian is very loving and thrives with the attention of caring adults. She would do well with a family who is calm and nurturing while also setting clear expectations and consistent messaging. Families able to guide Julian as she continues to work on social skills and boundaries with her peers will also be helpful for her.

Julian wants a family where she will feel safe and included, and she has asked to be adopted by family that looks like her. She hopes to live in a diverse area where she can be around other people of color. She has been learning a lot about her race and ethnicity and would love to be more involved in the Black/African American community. Julian would also be excited to have a sister.
