Who doesn’t love a good shark? Well, lots of people, probably, but Cole is an exception. If you ask this enthusiastic kid about his favorite animal, he will let you know he’s all about the big, bad shark. They are very cool, and so is Colt.
He can’t play with sharks, but he can certainly play with bugs, which is one of his favorite things to do. He loves to go “bug hunting” to discover the many kinds of creatures there are out there in the world. Colt also likes to go fishing (for fish, not sharks) and really enjoys playing and learning more about dinosaurs. Playing and being outside is a high priority for Colt, in fact he's alluded to the fact that he wants to live in the woods one day.
Currently in kindergarten, Colt is most successful when he has extra attention and encouragement from his teacher and staff. An adoptive family who can encourage and support Colt throughout his school years will be really great for him!
Colt has a close relationship with his current foster mom; a relationship he may like to continue even after he is adopted. An adoptive family who is open to maintaining Colt’s special connections will be essential.
Colt will do best in a home with a strong maternal presence – he really gets along well with women. He will also do his best in a home where he can be the only child, in order to get the quality attention and guidance that he needs.
If you can see Colt in your family, please reach out to us! We’re excited to find him the adoptive family he deserves.
