Paul and Jonathan are brothers who are dedicated to being adopted together to keep their close bond intact. The kids have other biological siblings that it will be important to maintain relationships with. Paul and Jonathan’s future adoptive family will need to support their connections as well as the one they have to each other.
Caring, giving, always willing to help someone out – Paul is a great kid who cherishes the time he spends with his friends and family. Paul has a great sense of humor and is always joking around with the people in his life. He’s been described as a good friend who is easy to talk with and who really enjoys interacting with other people. He’s a loyal and loving person who anyone would be lucky to know.
For fun, you can find Paul suggesting a board game or card game with the whole family or a group of friends. Paul is super outgoing and energetic and also spends a lot of time outside playing with his younger brother and their friends. He loves to ride his bike, scooter, or dirt bike outside as a way to further expend his energy. Additionally, Paul really loves to fly his drone outside!
A natural leader, Paul is always keeping his eye out for other people. He cares deeply about his friends and family and is polite and well-mannered to everyone around him. Paul is naturally curious and really enjoys learning more about the mechanics of a toy or object. He loves to start new projects and explore the depths of where they might end up.
Currently in the 7th grade, Paul traditionally does well in school and works hard at the tougher subjects like math and reading. Though he prefers in-person to remote learning, he’s dedicated to his studies and is trying his best to adjust to the new way of going to school. Paul is still becoming a great reader and can often be found reading at home with his foster family. His favorite subject is science and he loves to be involved in any science-based project. Having a tutor has helped Paul a lot in school, as well! When he grows up, Paul wants to be a firefighter, a police officer, or simply to work in a field where he can help other people.
Like his brother, Jonathan really enjoys a good game night with friends and family. He has a slew of interests including playing video games, watching movies, drawing, and playing with Legos. In fact, Jonathan is quite the builder. He’s comfortable using tools and really enjoys the chance to learn new building skills. He spends a lot of time outside, oftentimes playing, but other times working on a yard project with his foster dad. He really enjoys helping with construction-based projects and building any and everything.
Jonathan is silly and has a great sense of humor and enjoys laughing and making others laugh. He communicates well, and often with humor, and is a great conversationalist. Jonathan is curious, well-mannered, kind, caring, fun, and, according to his social worker, a “delight to be around.” Recently, Jonathan’s self-confidence has seen a boost and he has mastered the art of learning to have an opinion and sharing it as well.
In school, Jonathan is a superstar and really enjoys being there. He has a zest for learning new things and had been focused on making new friends in school, before the pandemic. Jonathan’s favorite subject is reading and he is often found with his head in a book both at home and in school. He is even in an Accelerated Reader program at school!
An adoptive family who is dedicated to keeping Jonathan and Paul connected with their other biological siblings is the best fit for everyone.
Jonathan and Paul are looking forward to being adopted together! Their social worker would really like to hear from skilled and experienced families located in the Pacific Northwest in order to maintain their important relationship with other biological family members, though any family configuration is great for these funny, loving brothers.
If you can envision Jonathan and Paul in your family, please reach out to us! We’re excited to find them the adoptive family they deserve.
