Antonio has a multitude of interests, and a few of them really stand out when thinking about who Antonio is and what he’s interested in.
Antonio loves sports. He really enjoys playing basketball or tossing a football around, though he is likely open to playing any sport. Having him engaged as a part of a team could really be a great motivator for him, and he would benefit from learning the importance of being a team player and working alongside peers and friends.
Singing is something that is really important to Antonio, a lover of music. Previously, he’s been a part of a choir and would like to get involved again in the future. Singing is a really relaxing and fulfilling hobby for Antonio. Both the social aspect of being in a choir and the deep breathing techniques are so beneficial for him!
Got some art supplies? Antonio really likes to draw and express himself creatively. Adoptive families who are excited to stoke that creative energy will be an especially good fit. Making sure Antonio has access to art supplies and tools is a great idea so he feels encouraged to express himself whenever inspiration hits.
And the final quadrant in Antonio’s passions? Cars! He can tell you the exact kind of car he’d like when he’s older (a Subaru WRX) and he is super interested in learning more about the mechanics of vehicles. Seeing and talking about cars is one of Antonio’s favorite things to do!
Currently in the 8th grade, Antonio does best in school when he is in a structured classroom with lots of opportunities to spend one-on-one time with his teacher(s). An adoptive family who can support and guide Antonio through some of the tougher subjects will be really beneficial.
Antonio is really close to his biological brother and enjoys chatting with him whenever they can make it happen. The two brothers will often play video games with each other online, which is a special connection they have. An adoptive family who will maintain and support this bond is essential.
A personable and super friendly kid, Antonio will be a great fit for the right adoptive family. Rules really matter to Antonio; open and honest communication does as well. An adoptive family who can guide Antonio toward success by being there for him while providing him with structure, patience, and lots of love will be a great fit. Antonio would do really well with a strong paternal figure, like a single dad, and in a home where he can be the only child.
