Meet Peter

Described as a sweet kid, Peter is very caring and enjoys being around people. He has a variety of interests and pursuits. For fun and recreation, Peter enjoys playing games such as Geometry Dash, Fortnite, and Minecraft. He loves his LEGOs and his Hotwheels cars. He has also enjoyed riding his bike outdoors, playing basketball, and fishing, but he’s typically more of a homebody. Peter also has an interest in playing music. Previously, Peter lived in a home with an electric piano and would plunk away and figure out songs with a teaching program the piano came with.

“He exudes energy and light.”

Easygoing and lively, Peter has a quick sense of humor, so it’s no wonder that his favorite day of the year is April Fools’ Day! Each year, he looks forward to playing a few practical jokes, but he doesn’t just reserve his pranks until then! He loves coming up with funny names and characters all year long and really finds humor to be a great way of connecting with others. He also really likes Christmas.

In school, Peter is doing well and shows lots of academic potential and drive. Peter really appreciates extra support to stay focused and attentive. His former teachers have wondered if there's a little genius inside of him. With the right support at home, Peter will continue to thrive. Before the pandemic, Peter had joined two after school clubs and was making new friends. Hopefully in the future, he can pick those things right back up!

Couples and single moms who would welcome the opportunity to parent and mentor a smart, caring kid will want to learn more about Peter! Peter will do best in a home with either no other children in order for him to receive the full attention he deserves, though he will also do great with older children to be his pal and mentor. An adoptive family who will cheer Peter on in his academic pursuits and incorporate his interests into family activities would be a great fit.

If you’re interested in learning more about Peter, please let us know! We are excited to find him the adoptive family he deserves.
