K-Lee was involved in making the videos below two year ago. Just recently, she wanted to update everything. Definitely stay tuned and meet the K-Lee of 2019 by the end of July!

K-Lee helped create a video of her recording session to show off her love of music.

K-Lee is a joy to be around. She is outgoing, social, funny, and makes friends easily. She loves being involved in a wide range of activities and hobbies. She is an artist at heart, in many ways.

She paints and draws and loves to tackle craft projects. She has her own collection of art supplies to create in her free time. Music and singing are also central to who K-Lee is. She loves to be active in choir programs at her school or in her community. It gives her a chance to tap into her amazing vocal skills (check out her video above!) and make new friends. She also loves listening to music and has many favorite artists and songs. Her artistry goes even another step further, as she has written her own songs and poetry for a number of years now. She says both performing music and writing help her process her emotions and express how she feels.

“Singing expresses emotions, how people feel, what’s going on in their life…not just my songs, but I sing other people’s songs to help express the way I feel.” -K-Lee

K-Lee's recorded four of her favorite songs to make an album to share with families. Have a listen!

K-Lee very much wants to be adopted. She would especially like to have an adoptive family living in the Pacific Northwest to help her be able to maintain some of her significant relationships. Even though K-Lee and her brothers are not placed in the same home, they remain in contact and it will be important for her adoptive family to help her maintain these sibling connections.

In the 2018-19 school year, K-Lee is in 10th grade. She enjoys school and does well in most subjects. While K-Lee is very good about turning in her homework, she would appreciate having adoptive parent(s) who will support and encourage her as she works to improve how she prepares for and performs on tests. She is a great advocate for herself and is able to tell others around her what she needs and how they can support her, particularly a family.
