Meet Luis

A sports fan with a great sense of humor and a creative imagination, Luis is the kind of kid you know is going places. Luis has big dreams for his future and holds himself to a high standard. He’s polite, respectful, patient and a pleasure to be around, which make him a great teammate in soccer and football, two of his favorite sports. Luis is also passionate about his involvement with his school’s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program where he was recently put in charge of their community events!

Luis can be a little shy when first meeting people, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes playful and talkative. He loves telling jokes to make people laugh and enjoys conversations where he can learn new things and share about his interests. Always willing to help out where needed and take on new tasks, Luis values being a part of a community and is a great team player.

Heading into the 10th grade this year, Luis is excited about continuing and advancing his role in JROTC and hopes to continue playing on his school’s sports teams as well. Luis does well in his classes, and his effort to stay on top of his math studies this past year has been paying off. A supportive family who will give Luis guidance and structure while helping him stay focused on his academics would keep Luis on track and give him the confidence to keep reaching for his dreams.

Luis has said he would like a permanent place to call home, and a family with current or past military experience who would appreciate and encourage his plans with the JROTC program would be a great fit. Luis thrives in a structured, dependable environment where he can have a set schedule and a solid foundation. Luis would do well as an only child, but would also make a great big brother, and/or benefit from the near peer guidance of older siblings.

If you can see Luis in your family, reach out! We’re excited to find the adoptive family for Luis that he so deserves!
