Meet Jade

Future scientist? Food critic? Veterinarian? The possibilities are endless when it comes to Jade!

Jade is a curious, talkative, and energetic kid with a passion for science. When she isn’t reading up on black holes and other scientific phenomena, Jade enjoys being active and on the go! Jade loves to go camping and swimming during the summer, but has a particular appreciation for the fall and winter months. She loves Thanksgiving “because of food!” Jade has been active in a variety of sports like volleyball, basketball, and softball. She’s learned a lot about herself and others being a part of these teams! She is excited to keep participating in and building connections through sports.

Jade is finishing up the sixth grade and will do well with adoptive parents who can help be strong educational advocates for her. She does her best learning with lots of repetition and visuals. Jade is especially interested in expanding her social circle and making new friends! Having the support of an adoptive family behind her as Jade navigates these peer relationships will make a world of difference for her.

Jade really wants to feel involved and like she is an integral part of her adoptive family. She is open to two parent families or “just a mom.” Jade likes taking part in family activities, and would do well in an area with a strong sense of community. Jade would love an active adoptive family who can help provide her with plenty of opportunities for social interactions. Jade’s team believes she’ll do best with a strong maternal presence in her life. Jade likes animals too, and has grown up around dogs. Caring for animals would be a great way for Jade to grow her sense of responsibility as she starts coming into her teen years.

Jade is a wonderful kid who deserves to find a loving adoptive family who will accept for who she is and where she’s going in life! If you think you could be the committed and growth-oriented permanent family that Jade has been waiting for, please let us know. We're ready to help Jade find the adoptive family she deserves.

Could you see Jade as part of your family?
