Josh and Saria (pronounced like "Sarah") are a brother-sister duo who love being with each other. They are invested in finding an adoptive home where they can be together, with a supportive and loving family who will help them grow throughout their teenage years and beyond.

Josh really enjoys being outside, especially if he’s playing sports. His favorite sports to play are football, hockey, and soccer, though he’s also a cross-country guy! When inside, he enjoys playing video games.

Currently in the 9th grade, Josh enjoys school even during the whirlwind of learning during the pandemic. He takes pride in getting good grades and is very eager to start participating in team sports again once it’s safe and they’re available.

Saria has a wide array of interests and hobbies that she likes to spend her time on. Any kind of outdoor activity is on Saria’s list; families who enjoy being outside exploring may be a good fit for Saria! When she’s not exploring the outside world, Saria is likely dancing or singing, or perhaps getting creative. Among her artistic interests are coloring and crafts.

Currently in the 6th grade, Saria does well at school overall. She’s a very social kid who makes friends easily. She’s got a great sense of humor and brightens the room! A potential adoptive family who can help Saria stay on track in the classroom and encourage her throughout her school years will be beneficial.

An optimistic kid, Josh is often smiling and laughing, especially when he gets to be around others. He’s always being complimented on his good manners and is great at being social, especially with some gentle boundaries. Funny and polite, Josh’s team say they appreciate how he’s able to communicate effectively, especially when having a good day.

Saria’s foster parents share that she is an effective communicator when in the right space. Saria has expressed her desired to be adopted by the right family, with her brother, and remains optimistic about finding the right fit for her, even after some of the obstacles the pandemic has thrown her way.

Saria loves art. And she has big plans this summer for selling some!

Saria’s team shares that Saria has a strong belief in respecting others the way she wants to be respected and is skilled at expressing herself. She’ll do well with adoptive parent(s) who appreciate pre-teens and have plenty of time to be involved and excited about all aspects of Saria’s life. She’ll do best in a home with no more than one or two other kids, as Saria really appreciates one-on-one time and attention.

Notably, Saria is at her happiest when she’s involved in sports and extracurricular activities and gets to spend a ton of time outdoors. An active adoptive family who also thrives in the outdoors would be a great fit! Josh is also a kid who loves to be active and involved in many things. He shares his sister’s desire to be adopted and being in a permanent family together.

If you can see Josh and Saria together in your family, please reach out to us! We’re excited to find them the adoptive family they want and deserve.
