Meet Jordin! This easygoing kid is eager to make a name for himself. He hopes to become a famous YouTuber someday! If that doesn’t pan out, Jordin has a solid backup plan to have his own restaurant business. Jordin doesn’t feel like he’s the most outdoorsy or “country” kid, but he doesn’t mind camping or fishing when the opportunity comes up. He also likes cats, dogs, ferrets, and bunnies. Jordin loves hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and watching movies. Jordin likes to stay active, but he prefers to do it in a group setting among friends. His favorite board game is Settlers of Catan. Jordin is not picky about his clothing, but thinks it would be so cool to have his own leather jacket! If given the chance to travel anywhere in the world, he would choose Ireland.

Jordin is currently in the 10th grade. His favorite subjects are math and science. He recently started taking Spanish and has really enjoyed it so far. Jordin benefits from a little extra support with his schoolwork and reminders about when assignments are due, but is usually able to get things done on his own. Jordin’s current foster mom has observed that “he is conscientious about his schoolwork.” Jordin has plans to attend college in a few years and would like to study something related to technology. He is working towards getting a job soon and really looks forward to having his own money to spend!

Jordin’s team is looking for a family that is committed to helping him be his very best self and that that can provide him with continuous structure and support. Jordin’s team knows that he does best with clear expectations, routine, and predictability.

Jordin has some family members that he may want to reestablish contact with in the future. He’s really close with his current foster mom and his friends, and would like to stay in contact with them as well. Jordin currently attends a Latter-Day Saints youth group about once a week. While he doesn’t identify with any one particular religion at this time, it’s important that Jordin’s future family supports him in pursuing the faith of his choice.

The most important thing about family for Jordin is that they stick with him. He is open to a single parent, a mom and a dad, two dads, or two moms. Jordin would prefer to be in a family without younger children. He likes to hang out with kids his own age and is a great friend when he’s able to have the time to build up his relationships.
