When’s the last time you strapped on a pair of rollerblades and went gliding through the neighborhood? If you ask Ru, the answer would be a quick and easy one – anytime she can. As a kid who very much appreciates the chance to get outside and play, rollerblading is probably her favorite adventurous activity. By herself or with her friends or biological siblings, rollerblading is something Ru will always be excited to get out and practice.
Anything in the great outdoors is up Ru’s alley. Besides rollerblading, Ru loves to jump on the trampoline while taking in the fresh air around her. Rounding out her sense of adventure is the Girl Scouts! Ru is a proud Girl Scout. The sense of community paired with learning life skills is a great activity for her.
Currently in the 6th grade, Ru is making great, upward improvement in her academic world. She would do well with an adoptive family who prioritizes education and can encourage and motivate her to stay focused as she continues to make progress.
Ru is a bright, positive, happy, and outgoing kid. She’s super chatty and loves to talk and laugh. Her social worker says she has a “happy soul,” which is an incredibly special quality to have.
Ru has four biological siblings that she really loves to spend time with. An adoptive family who can support her sibling relationships will be essential.
Her positive energy will make a great addition to the right adoptive family, and Ru is ready for one. Ru would do well in a family with a strong maternal presence and with or without other siblings in the home. Her enthusiasm and big, happy laugh will brighten up anyone’s home.
If you can envision Ru in your family, please reach out to us. We’re excited to find her the adoptive family she deserves.
