Meet Legend

Families ready to be strong medical advocates for Legend will be in his best interest, as he’s working hard growing up! Legend’s team is available to help current caregivers with some of the services and processes that Legend requires.

Though he’s not yet school age, Legend does spend some time in a daycare setting with caregivers capable of managing his medical needs. At daycare he is enamored with the other children and wants to do whatever they’re doing.

Legend recently began crawling and has loved zooming around the house.

He builds up his social skills with his resource parents, other children in the home, as well as at daycare and out in public. When he is out on errands or heading to appointments, he will try and interact with anyone that he sees, and many want to come up and meet him once they see his smile.

Legend’s team is hopeful to hear from families whose schedules allow flexibility with his services and appointments. They would need to be well trained in his various medical needs and be able to stay home with him or could have a nursing staff with him. Legend’s day requires a lot of structure and procedures that help him throughout his day.

Legend has two older siblings who are proud to have him as their little brother. They wish to remain in contact at some level with Legend if possible, as they love seeing him whenever they can. Families willing to help Legend maintain these important connections would be in his best interest.
