Micah is a very active, busy kid who loves climbing and will play with just about anything. Micah is great at entertaining himself with his imagination, and loves to play inside of boxes, rip pieces of paper, and twirling things. He’s also taken an interest in LEGOs and puzzle pieces.

Micah loves music and singing, and he especially loves songs like “Baby Shark,” “Old MacDonald,” and “I Like to Move It,” from the movie Madagascar. Micah is growing quickly, and along the way he’s found that he loves the water! He is currently learning to dress himself with some help from his caregiver.

Micah communicates primarily through gesturing towards the things he wants, and by taking an adult’s hand and leading them.

In Kindergarten, he is learning lots of new skills and also does best with some supports in the classroom. Having a rigid routine and structure in school helps Micah stay focused and on track. He recently received a performance award at school and participated in the award assembly.

Micah’s team is excited to hear from families ready to help him continue to grow with lots of support and structure. Any family configuration will do!
