As a visitor
to our site, we encourage you to to learn more about the featured waiting Our children’s privacy is very important. Their profile is a glimpse into their personality and their special needs. In order to receive additional information or be forwarded to an individual social worker, you must have a completed adoptive home study. If you have a completed adoptive home study, we can release the name, address and phone number of a child's social worker to you. Either you or the worker who did your home study can then contact the child's worker for additional information. As you browse the children's profiles, you may have your information forwarded to a child's worker by clicking the "contact us" link next to each child's picture and filling out the information request form. If you do not have a completed home study, we would encourage you to begin the process to obtain a special needs adoption home study. While the child you are interested in may be placed by the time your home study is completed, there are many children who are waiting for their family--they may be waiting just for you! Icons
Please note: The Northwest Adoption Exchange does not collect home studies (except for Washington's Specialized Recruitment Project) nor do we make placement decisions. Our job is to connect adoptive, home-studied families with the workers of the children featured on our web site. Please continue to the waiting child indexes:Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington
