Meet NICK (12/91), who is legally free and wants to tell you a bit about himself.

"Hi, my name is Nick. I like to play soccer, football, and basketball. I also like to play frisbee golf. Some other things I like to do are fishing, biking, camping and really any other outdoor activity. I am really into mechanics and I love to work on cars and build and fix things. I'd like to have nice parents who don't do drugs. I'm ok with having rules. I'd like a family who won't judge me for what I wear and I'd like to be able to buy my own clothes. I think it would be cool to be in a family that has a couple of other kids. I like to read and I also write songs and poetry. I'm a pretty good artist, and I like to draw outdoor settings and abstract designs.

I do best when I can keep my mind busy. I also like to be physically active and I like to snowboard. I am doing a lot better now than I was, and I can balance my mood without medication now. I like animals, especially cats, dogs, and snakes."

According to those who know Nick, he can be caring and kind to others. He is outgoing and quite articulate. Nick has made tremendous progress this past year with social interaction skills. He is demonstrating good judgment and has learned to express feelings rather than act them out. Nick is currently excelling in school. He needs adoptive parents who can show him consistency and flexibility in their parenting, as well as the ability to access resources such as counseling and medication management. Parents who enjoy teenagers could make such a difference in Nick's life. You'll love hanging out with this thoughtful young man!
