"My name is Ashley and I'm in the tenth grade. I've been running track for the past four years. I like the competition of track since I'm a competitive person. I do pretty well in school. I like learning about business law and computers. I like being with my friends and listening to upbeat music. I also do ballet and jazz. I'm an outgoing and fun person and I love to eat at Subway. I think everyone deserves a family and I feel I am ready for a family. I'd like a family who is really accepting of me and who will let me ease into things as I'm adjusting to a new family. I am accepting of different types of people and I'm not judgmental."

Ashley enjoys a challenge at school and is a hard worker. At a young age, it was necessary for Ashley to care for her younger siblings, and it is important that she have parents who can help Ashley enjoy her teenage years. She loves to be active in sports and dancing and would like to have parents who have a lot of energy. Ashley is well spoken and articulate and can effectively communicate with others. She needs parents who can be patient with her as she learns to trust others, and who can model appropriate social behavior. Ashley has three younger siblings with whom she would like to maintain contact through weekend visits and phone calls.
