"My name is Trystan and I am 11 years old. I like video games and writing stories. I also like to read stories, like Robin Hood. I liked the book and the movie "Because of Winn Dixie." I enjoy playing soccer, basketball, baseball and hot wheels. I really like horses and other animals. I also enjoy cooking, fishing and camping.

I would like a family who will treat me with respect. I don't want to move anymore, and I want a family who will always be there for me. I would like my mom and dad to have good fair rules, and I need to feel safe and loved. I also would like to have fun with br others and sisters, if the family has some other kids."

Trystan's treatment team describes him as charming and very polite. He desires other people's approval and really wants to have, and will work for, good relationships with friends and adults. Trystan is also a leader in peer groups and is confident about requesting what he wants and needs.

Trystan's adoption team will be seeking parent(s) who are very sophisticated in the areas of accessing community resources. Having knowledge of the affects of abuse and neglect are indispensable in assisting Trystan's continued learning of self-management skills. Potential adoptive parents who have knowledge of the symptoms and treatment of Reactive Attachment Disorder are going to be a great match for this young man.
